Progress Submissions Featured Images Content Review Social Captions Set Dates & TimesSteps At This Stage
- Step 1 Thoroughly research and target your interviewee. When you reached out to your interviewee, you determined whether you want the focus of the interview to be either 1 career-based, 2 role-based, or 3 insight-based.
- Step 2 Decide on a key theme they might be addressing about either their role, career, or industry insight. Ensure a strong understanding of the content we offer to determine where their answers will go. See: Players, Jobs and SPMA.
- Step 3 Choose questions that reflect the theme chosen. This is so important. Ensure at least 80% of your questions can elicit thorough answers that match your theme. It often helps to brainstorm possible titles for your article at this stage to ensure fit with the questions chosen.
- Step 4 Send questions to the interviewee in the most updated question document.
- Step 5 When you get them back, choose quote that best exemplifies the theme. If the answers don't match the theme, consider asking extra questions.
- Step 6 Create a concise title that reflects theme, responses and the purpose when submitting your piece.
