AI can be useful for brainstorming, editing and checking alignment with a posting, but the final application still needs to be accurate and sound like you. Do not let a tool invent accomplishments, skills or numbers. Use it to identify gaps, tighten wording or generate questions you should answer, then rewrite the result based on your actual experience. Generic AI language is easy to spot because it often repeats the job description without evidence. The strongest application still contains specific examples only you can provide. Treat AI as an editor or thinking partner, not as the author of your career history.
