Based in New Jersey, Sky Blue FC was part of the original W-League back in 2006 and is today one of the founding members of the nine team National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Operated by Sky Blue Women’s Soccer Inc., Sky Blue FC was originally established in the fall of 2006, making its debut on the field with the launch of Jersey Sky Blue in the W-League of the United Soccer Leagues in 2007.
