The ideal candidate combines strong creative vision with deep production expertise, bringing the ability to direct shoots, guide post-production, lead creative teams, and establish scalable workflows that deliver high-quality work within established budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Post-Sale Creative Development

  • Lead the post-sale creative development of custom branded video programs, partnering with Partnership Marketing and Creative Strategy teams to refine and evolve sold concepts into compelling, production-ready content
  • Develop creative treatments, scripts, storyboards, and production plans that translate approved concepts into engaging, social-first storytelling tailored to FOS platforms and audiences
  • Serve as the creative and production expert throughout campaign execution, identifying opportunities to strengthen or reimagine creative approaches while maintaining the original campaign objectives and partner commitments
  • Present creative recommendations and refinements to internal stakeholders and clients, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions and navigating feedback to build alignment

Video Production & Creative Direction

  • Serve as the hands-on creative director for smaller-scale productions, directing talent, interviews, and crews to bring the creative vision to life
  • Own the overarching creative vision for larger-scale productions, collaborating with external directors and production partners to ensure consistent creative execution
  • Oversee video editing and post-production, providing clear, actionable direction on storytelling, pacing, graphics, sound, and overall production quality
  • Partner with the Branded Content Producer and broader Multimedia team on production operations, planning, talent coordination, shoot logistics, and creative approvals
  • Maintain high creative standards across branded video, ensuring content reflects the FOS brand, resonates with its audience, and delivers against partner objectives
  • Proactively troubleshoot creative and production challenges, identifying solutions that balance storytelling quality, client expectations, budgets, and timelines

Production Management & Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor Branded Content Producer(s), providing creative guidance, production oversight, and professional development
  • Oversee external directors, editors, and production partners, building a trusted network of freelance creative talent and vendors to scale production capabilities
  • Develop production scopes, resource plans, and budgets in collaboration with the Branded Content team, identifying efficient approaches without sacrificing creative quality
  • Oversee production timelines, resource allocation, and vendor deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Establish scalable production processes, creative workflows, and quality-control standards to support a growing branded content business

Cross-Functional & Client Collaboration

  • Work closely with Partnership Marketing, Creative Strategy, Multimedia, Sales, and Account Management to ensure alignment from post-sale creative development through campaign delivery
  • Confidently lead creative presentations and discussions with clients, articulating concepts, production approaches, and recommendations with polish, clarity, and a strong understanding of partner objectives
  • Navigate competing creative perspectives and client feedback, identifying thoughtful compromises and proactive solutions that protect the FOS brand while delivering against partner objectives
  • Partner closely with the VP, Partnership Marketing to align on creative direction, key production decisions, and client-facing recommendations, proactively communicating progress, challenges, and opportunities
  • Contribute to the continued development of FOS's branded content capabilities, identifying new formats, creative approaches, and production opportunities

Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 25–30% of the time for onsite productions, talent shoots, and partner activations.

  • Hands-on experience directing talent, interviews, and production crews, with the ability to independently lead smaller-scale productions and oversee creative execution on larger projects
  • Deep understanding of video production and post-production workflows, including working knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro. Hands-on editing experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the distinctions between editorial and branded content licensing agreements, including usage rights, distribution permissions, exclusivity, term lengths, ownership, and associated legal and commercial considerations
  • Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform-specific best practices across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, with an instinct for content that resonates with sports, business, and culture audiences
  • Experience managing and mentoring creative talent, overseeing external production partners, and managing production budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to confidently present creative recommendations to clients, navigate competing perspectives, and build alignment across stakeholders
