Manager, Catering & Event Operations

This manager leads the planning and execution of premium catering events across Scotiabank Arena’s clubs, suites, lounges and meeting spaces, with occasional off-site assignments. Responsibilities include reviewing event orders, developing staffing and setup plans, coordinating equipment and vendors, managing timelines and budgets, leading pre-event briefings, and resolving guest concerns. The role partners with culinary, sales, security, facilities and event-services teams while coaching supervisors and hourly staff. Candidates should have at least three years of progressive catering, hospitality or event-operations management experience, financial and labour-management skills, strong organization and communication abilities, and flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays.
