Remote and hybrid opportunities exist, but the amount of flexibility depends heavily on the function. Technology, analytics, finance, certain marketing roles and some agency work can be more location-flexible, while event operations, facilities, ticket service and team support often require regular on-site presence. Even remote roles may expect travel for games, meetings or major events. When searching, focus on the actual responsibilities rather than assuming “business-side” means remote-capable. Early-career employees may also benefit from some in-person exposure because so much learning happens through informal collaboration and event experience.
