Look for experience where talent, brands and content intersect. Agency account management, sponsorship activation, influencer marketing, athlete services, social strategy and partnership sales can all be useful. Learn how to evaluate brand fit, manage deliverables, protect the athlete’s time and coordinate approvals across many stakeholders. The strongest professionals can balance short-term commercial opportunities with a coherent long-term brand. Early in your career, working on several accounts at an agency or talent-management company can provide broad exposure, but team, brand and creator-economy experience can transfer as well.
