How do you quantify sports experience when your work was not directly tied to revenue?

Resume advice often says to use numbers, but many internships and operations roles involve coordination, service or support rather than obvious sales results. What kinds of metrics are still useful?

Use numbers to show scale, frequency, speed or responsibility, not just revenue. You might quantify the number of events supported, fans served, volunteers coordinated, social posts produced, partner assets tracked, reports completed, schedules managed or stakeholders involved. You can also describe improvements such as reducing turnaround time, increasing participation or creating a process that replaced manual work. Do not invent precision where none exists. A truthful statement like “coordinated credentialing for 140 event staff across 12 home dates” gives a hiring manager far more context than “helped with event operations.”
