Ask the Sports Industry 1 answer

Is it a bad look to apply for several jobs with the same sports organization?

Sometimes a team has multiple entry-level openings that I could reasonably do. Does applying to more than one make me look unfocused?

Applying to more than one role is not automatically a problem if the jobs are genuinely related to your background. Two positions in marketing and partnerships may tell a coherent story; applications to marketing, accounting, athletic training and coaching probably do not. Tailor each application and be prepared to explain your preference if asked. The strongest approach is to identify the common capability you bring and why each role makes sense. If one position is clearly your first choice, say so when appropriate rather than trying to appear equally passionate about every opening.
