This is a Netflix original documentary about the life of legendary Brazilian soccer player Pelé. We see his rise to fame and successful career in the sport that made him a hero in his country. Which, was not always as easy as he made it look. We hear from him, his friends and his family about what life was like during his prime. Including a part of time where Brazil was under a dictatorship during Pelé's playing days. With clips from the past, you see footage from old games and the incredible skills he had. With that success, and as the only player to have won 3 FIFA World Cups in the tournament's history, it's no wonder that his life was chosen to be documented. He's an incredible athlete and this is his story.

What do professional sport, player side of sport and sports triumphs all have in common? They all involve Pelé. Both the athlete and the documentary. In the Netflix original, we see the life of Pelé, a name many people know even if not a fan of soccer. He has made his mark as a player and his name will likely always be remembered, especially in his native Brazil. We see and hear about his career in the sport, a successful journey that people still talk about today. In pro-sport he's represented his nation as well as Santos Futebol Clube, a Brazilian soccer club. He's had success with both nation and club, but one of his greatest accomplishments we see is being the only player to have 3 World Cup titles to his name. A triumph, not even today's best players can claim. It may be a while before we see another Pelé but until then, we will always remember this successful athlete.
