Project Manager

World Olympians Association

Welcome to the eighth episode of The SnaP, a SPort MAnagement (SPMA) Hub digital show, featuring voices from the sport industry, hosted by Anastasiya Romanska. The show probes a snapshot into their lives by providing a visual with auditory experience.

In this episode, we chat with the World Olympians Association Project Manager at the International Olympic Committee, Marie-Ève Marleau OLY.

Marie-Eve Marleau

Marie-Ève joins Anastasiya all the way from Switzerland where she is currently working at the International Olympic Center. As a former Canadian Olympic diver and member of the Canadian Olympic Association, she has moved continents to continue her career within the organization.

Marie-Eve Marleau

Anastasiya and Marie-Ève chatted about working with over 100,000 past and current Olympians around the world, and doing it during the COVID-19 pandemic. She told us about how postponing the 2020 Games has made her focus on special initiatives and she shared her views on giving back to communities.

Marie-Eve Marleau

Marie-Ève  holds an instrumental role in the International Olympic Committee and does the work behind the scenes that you don’t always see. She believes that the Olympics isn’t just about the Games, but rather “giving back and making a difference.”

We are extremely excited to have Marie-Ève Marleau OLY join us this week. Click here to scroll back up and view the digital show.
